As CEO, Tommy Wattimena leads 1800 employees with activities ranging from end to end, covering manufacturing, supply chain, marketing and sales, finally distribution and logistic.

Wattimena's marketing skills are rarity in the Asia Pacific region. He was the first youngest Indonesian VP in Unilever Asia, assuming the vice president brand development in Unilever Asia Pacific Region. Having lived and worked in 4 different countries, and traveled extensively around the world, Wattimena has built acute consumer understanding with the real market know-how and experiences in building brand accross different cultures and markets. His key achievement was to successfully double the ice cream category into second largest and one of the fastest category growth in Unilever Asia Pacific portfolio.

Before joining Sinarmas, Wattimena joined XL Axiata in 2011, one of the best Asian telecommunication company, as senior vice president brand and customer segment. He successfully relaunched XL from an old telecommunication operator into mobile data operator. His marketing skills and capabilities have been enhanced in big data analytic and digital mobile marketing e-cosystem.

Wattimena lives in Jakarta, and is an avid runner and art lover.
